Beechcraft Baron

The Beech 95-55 Baron was the founding member of a remarkable family of aircraft.  It was an evolution of the Beech Travelair, but with more powerful engines and improved all weather capability.  The aircraft operated by Flight Standards retain most elements of the original design making it a faithful example of the Baron type, but have been upgraded with modern avionics to enable training in all elements of the Instrument Rating.

This aircraft is the commensurate multi-engine training aircraft – with powerful IO-520 engines it will properly prepare pilots for the Multi-Engine Class Rating and provides honest engine inoperative performance.  It is a type commonly seen in service with General Aviation companies and Baron experience is attractive in the job market.

In addition to Multi-Engine Class Rating and Instrument Rating training, this aircraft is available for private hire to approved pilots.
