The Beech 95-55 Baron was the founding member of a remarkable family of aircraft. It was an evolution of the Beech Travelair, but with more powerful engines & improved all weather capability. The aircraft operated by Flight Standards retain most elements of the original design making it a faithful example of the Baron type, but have been upgraded with modern avionics to enable training in all elements of the Instrument Rating.
This aircraft is the commensurate multi-engine training aircraft – with powerful IO-520 engines it will properly prepare pilots for the Multi-Engine Class Rating & provides honest engine inoperative performance. It is a type commonly seen in service with General Aviation companies & Baron experience is attractive in the job market.
In addition to Multi-Engine Class Rating & Instrument Rating training, this aircraft is available for private hire to approved pilots.
This aircraft is only available for hire with an instructor (ie dual).
