Cameron Helps NTAS Gain Prescribed Single Engine Aeroplane Approval
02 May, 2025
All smiles in Far North Queensland today, with Cameron helping Northern Territory Air Services achieve its Prescribed Single Engine Aeroplane approval – which allows for scheduled air transport services in the c208 Caravan under the IFR. This represents a great forward step for NTAS – who now add FNQ / Cape York mail services to their repertoire. It’s this kind of thing that sets Flight Standards apart – our ability to do real-world industry relevant things, not just flog the circuit far away from where pilots go to work their first jobs. Also pictured is former Kakadu Air pilot Jack Gray, who becomes the Cairns Base Senior Pilot, as well as Themba Malumo, who trained with us last month on the C208 – but today carried out the “loader” duties. Well done all – you’ve made a bunch of people very happy & built the capability of yet another aviation business.
