Liam Payne Started the day as a CPL Flight Test Candidate & ended it as @kakaduair’s newest pilot! Congratulations – we are always proud when one of our students makes the transition from white shirt to khaki.
Liam started his training down south, but having realised that a Moorabbin-based school couldn’t give him the practical training, expertise or opportunities that exist in the Top End, he headed north about three months ago to concentrate on finishing his qualification with our team in Darwin. So… whilst most of his former course-mates are still working to finish their PPLs, Liam will be out there doing charter flights & scenics – once CASA send through his licence 🤣 His test wasn’t easy – the NT Dry Season may not have much weather, but the smoke haze crushed under a dominant subsidence inversion makes for a next-level challenge when the Examiner doesn’t allow unlimited use of GPS!
