Jake Harris completed our GA Ready course this month & has been given an immediate employment opportunity at Kakadu Air as a result!
Here he is having started his line training on the GA8 Airvan following his type conversion this weekend. He will likely fly 20 hours under supervision over the next couple of weeks – learning tours & how to fly charters the Kakair way before being checked to line for flying on his own…
The GA Ready course does not replace the training that operators will give you as a pilot – but it does make up the “gap” between what many pilots are coming out of flight school & what they are expected to be by the Chief Pilot in their first job…
